America still features a White majority, and it will remain White for decades to come. The demographic subset of that willing and able to vote in elections will remain solidly White for even more decades to come. White Advocates like myself are the first to highlight the extremely rapid demographic transformation of America, but even with Obama ratcheting up the immivasion knob to 11, American electoral politics still require a large minority of White Americans to vote for the blue team.
The Democratic Party relies on tens of millions of middle-class and working-class White Americans. There simply aren’t enough Jews, homosexuals, and academic hipster types to keep the DNC afloat. Especially given the implosion of labor unions, largely caused by prior open borders initiatives, the Democratic Party is in danger of being gutted by Obama’s lame duck hardball attempt to ram through the third world agenda he had been attempting to politely massage through for his entire tenure. Republicans are the ones panicking, but they’re not the ones imperiled.
Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to trigger racialist instincts in White Democrats, …and inviting an unprecedented Camp of the Saints tsunami of third world invaders into their cities is one way to do that. Few of them will actually have an identitarian epiphany, but the genuine fear of being overwhelmed by hostile outsiders is one of those instinctive and visceral emotions tucked deep down in the reptilian mind which will find a way to manifest itself regardless of whatever airy abstractions are bubbling about in the cerebral cortex.
Since White Democrats lack a moral and intellectual language to express this anxiety, the party won’t even see this problem coming until the full exit polls confirm a dramatic drop in White liberal turnout. While some will shift to voting Republican, far more will simply be too demoralized and discouraged to vote. The White alienation from the Democratic Party will be Barack Obama’s defining political legacy and the defining election challenge for multiple elections to come.
Ultimately, Obama’s forcing one of Western liberalism’s unresolved contradictions to a head. White liberals envision themselves as loving stewards of their brown minions, while brown people envision themselves as fully actualized human beings fully capable of ruling themselves. Furthermore, “brown people” see themselves as belonging to specific races, tribes, and communities. At some point, the Black American anxiety about the rapid Latinization of the United States could find some sort of political expression.
There is a breaking point with all this compassion and aid, where the misguided altruism which has driven the past few decades of American politics is exhausted. Like the awakened Saxon in Kipling’s classic poem, the White reaction will sneak up on the elites. It won’t be “hate”, but rather apathy and disengagement, but it will be nearly as devastating for those who anticipate a smooth and direct ride to a post-White America. Even White liberal Obama voters, in their heart of hearts, dream of a future other than a vast squalid refugee intake asylum for their future generations.
